Introducing the Toyota Corolla Furia Concept

Last updated 4 years ago

Toyota is preparing to make a big change to one of the best-selling cars of all time: the Toyota Corolla. The Corolla Furia may only be a concept vehicle at this point, but it offers a very revealing look at the future of America’s favorite family sedan. This latest Toyota concept vehicle provides a glimpse into the future of the Corolla.

Read on to learn more about the new Toyota Corolla Furia:

Crisp Lights

The first thing that greets you when you look at the Toyota Corolla Furia Concept is the sharp, angular headlights that are recessed into the front fascia. On the back, arrow-shaped taillights with LED technology give the vehicle a significantly sportier look than the current Corolla model.

19-Inch Spider-Like Wheels

The modern, seven-spoke wheels on the Toyota Corolla Furia are huge given the Corolla’s compact size. In addition to improving handling, these massive wheels mark a very bold departure from previous Corolla models, which are typically known for having a more quiet and understated design.

Toyota’s Signature Front Design

Toyota has introduced a new front end on a number of its recently re-styled vehicles, including the Corolla Furia Concept. This front end features two grilles crossed by a bar of sheet metal that touches both headlights. This style is expected to be a signature look for Toyota in the future, something as easily recognizable on new Toyotas as the Toyota logo itself.

Carbon Fiber Components

Many parts of the new Toyota Corolla Furia Concept are composed of carbon fiber. Its sturdy, lightweight material is popular in more expensive performance-oriented cars. But, in the Toyota Corolla Furia Concept, the front spoiler, rocker panels, rear fascia, and rear spoiler are made of carbon fiber to significantly reduce weight. This weight reduction increases performance, and improves fuel economy.
