The 2014 4Runner has gone through a redesign that shows its off-road heritage with premium refinement. The pictures say more than we can. As shown above, the fronts of the two models look distinctively different. The 2014 will be available in eight exterior colors that include new additions: Super White, Attitude Black Metallic, Barcelona Red Metallic, and Natural Blue Metallic. These new colors will join colors from last year which include: Blizzard Pearl, Classic Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and Black. The interior has been given some refined style with the comfort that you would expect from a mid-size SUV.
On the SR5, you get a new bright and easily noticeable Optitron instrument panel that houses all of your standard gauges plus a multi-information display. There is also an Eco-Driving feedback system that lets you to monitor your MPG in real time, allowing you to adjust your driving to get the best mpg possible. The Trail has an easy to reach overhead console that contains all the off-road controls in one easy to reach location. A powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine with 270 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque powers this monster of an SUV.
For the back seat passengers, the back of the front seats have been sculpted to provide you with some extra leg and knee room. The second row of seats also includes a center armrest, individually reclining seats (up to 16 degrees) and a one-touch walk-in function, making it easy to access the third row of seating. This roomy third row of seating is only available on the Limited and the SR5 trims. As with most new Toyotas, the 2014 4Runner comes with the Entune system, eight speakers, and much more to give you a very nice audio system in the car. Of course there is plenty more on the inside to talk about, but this is just a preview so this is all for now. Of course there is Toyota’s exclusive star safety system with eight airbags and safety connect.
